  Nice little unassuming place but the bbq will knock your socks off. We've lived in Kansas City and lived on the kc bbq and had been looking for good local bbq. Yay! Yes, I've eaten at the other Smithfield bbq joint (meh, under-seasoned)

  Went to Bubba & Franks tonight and ordered the grilled ribeye steak with fries, salad and ice tea. I expected my salad to arrive ahead of my steak but it came at the same time. I enjoy eating my salad first so that when the steak is served, it is sizzling hot. The salad didn't look none too fresh and my steak was cut about a 1/4 of an inch thick and over half was gristle and fat. I told the server that she should inform their buyer to make sure they get better cuts of meat in the future. I will say that the service from the cashier to the server was very good. I'll be hard pressed to go back there for steak ever again.

  First time there, last time there. No one greeted us when we walked in. So we had a seat. We soon realized we were not gonna get waited on. So we went up to counter and ordered. (Around the corner). We saw servers giving people complementary chips. So I went to counter and asked for some. We got 2 French fries in our chip basket, eww. I got the wrong sides twice with my meal. I gave up. Their sauces are all spicy and weird tasting. They bring your food to you but you have to go get your own silver wear. If you get hush puppies, you have to go get butter. Then we realized that the sauces are not on table either. Flies wouldn't leave us alone either. It was over priced for nasty food. Go to Q-Daddys for quality!!

  Bubba & Franks is my go too "spot" for great Bar-B-Que.  The Brisket is "lit"! I will say if you have not tried it The Brisket Salad is one of the best salads I have ever had. It is Huge!

  We went on sunday afternoon. The line was long behind us. All the tables were full. There were people waiting for take out. We tried the brisket, carolina pulled pork, half chicken, ribs, fried okra, hush puppies, macncheese, green beans, and slaw. Meats were pretty good. I like a thick cut brisket and theirs is thin. If you smoke meat you know when to cut thin and when to cut thick. Green beans were canned. Hush puppies were weird gooie, and lacked corn meal. Mac n cheese seemed store bought, so did the chicken and dumplings. Ocra was good... probably frozen. The staff was super nice, the tea is good. If im out there ill eat there again. Everything was ok. I'll bet its been amazing though based on the crowds.
